Priscilla Philip, a Malaysia based Artist, has been honing her skills in painting from a very young age. Originally a Fashion Merchandiser/Photographer, Priscilla has developed her love for Calligraphy and has blended her Calligraphy Skills with her twenty-one years of painting experience, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions.
Priscilla is a lecturer teaching the Art fundamental module in a Medical School. Overall she loves art in all forms and admires all forms of art.
Brush lettering is a style of writing similar to calligraphy. With each letter, heavy pressure is applied on the downward stroke and light pressure is applied with every upward stroke. Because of the use of pressure and the appearance of the letters, brush lettering is commonly known as modern calligraphy.
This class is for beginners and is perfect if you’ve been curious about brush lettering but not sure where to start. No experience is necessary–this workshop is created specifically with beginners in mind.
